Every qualifying remodel project includes our 2-Year Limited Craftsmanship Warranty, giving homeowners peace of mind long after construction is complete.

Unlike many contractors, we do not disappear after the final payment. We believe in building long-term relationships and delivering quality work that lasts.

1. 2-YEAR LIMITED CRAFTSMANSHIP WARRANTY

Warranty Coverage

Mile High Remodel (“Contractor”) warrants that labor and workmanship performed under the construction agreement shall be free from material defects for a period of two (2) years from the date of substantial completion.

If a covered workmanship defect is discovered during the warranty period, Contractor agrees to repair or replace the defective workmanship at Contractor’s sole discretion.

This warranty applies only to workmanship performed directly by Contractor or Contractor’s subcontractors.

Covered Examples

Covered items may include:

·      Improper tile installation

·      Loose flooring caused by installation defects

·      Cabinet installation defects

·      Door alignment issues

·      Trim separation caused by workmanship

·      Paint failure caused by improper surface preparation

·      Plumbing fixture leaks caused by installation defects

·      Electrical fixture installation defects

·      Improperly installed hardware

·      Construction-related drywall defects

3. WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

The following items are specifically excluded from this Limited Warranty:

·      Normal wear and tear

·      Hairline drywall or concrete cracks caused by normal settling

·      Caulking shrinkage or seasonal movement

·      Damage caused by abuse, neglect, misuse, or improper maintenance

·      Damage caused by pets, children, tenants, movers, or third parties

·      Water intrusion from existing conditions or unrelated failures

·      Acts of nature including hail, flood, fire, wind, or earthquakes

·      Customer-supplied materials or fixtures

·      Manufacturer defects

·      Cosmetic variations in natural materials

·      Damage caused by modifications or repairs performed by others

·      Mold or environmental conditions

·      Existing conditions outside Contractor’s contracted scope

·      Color fading from sunlight or UV exposure

This warranty becomes void if repairs or alterations are performed by others without written authorization from Contractor.

4. WARRANTY CLAIM PROCESS

Submitting a Claim

All warranty claims must be submitted in writing.

·      Homeowner name

·      Property address

·      Description of issue

·      Photos of issue

·      Best contact information

Inspection Process

Contractor shall be provided reasonable opportunity to inspect the claimed issue before repairs are authorized.

Repair Timeline

Covered warranty repairs shall be scheduled within a reasonable timeframe based on:

·      Severity of issue

·      Material availability

·      Contractor scheduling

·      Weather conditions

5. HOMEOWNER MAINTENANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

Proper homeowner maintenance is required to preserve warranty coverage.

Homeowner responsibilities include:

·      Maintaining proper humidity levels

·      Re-caulking wet areas as needed over time

·      Cleaning and maintaining surfaces properly

·      Promptly addressing plumbing leaks

·      Replacing HVAC filters regularly

·      Performing seasonal maintenance

·      Preventing standing water or moisture intrusion

Failure to maintain the property may void portions of this warranty.
